It was made in Germany around 1830s. The piece is veneered with walnut wood with an extraordinary black oak and maple vein inlay on the drawers, tabletop and sides showing extraordinary quality craftsmenship of the Biedermeier period. The desk is supported on eight conical legs that provide high stability. All five drawers feature beautiful brass fittings and key locks. See less
