Oh La La! Bon Jour Karl! Feast your eyes on this lavish 90s "Lagerfeld" runway cuff-style bangle. Rare and iconic piece from the late, great Karl Lagerfeld. The gold-tone is accentuated and offset by black enamel. It is luxurious, lavish and elegant all at once. It is in beautiful condition with the maker's hallmark on the interior, as shown in photos. ~ The late Karl Lagerfeld was a couture designer who worked with several prominent Parisian fashion houses, including Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld got his start in the fashion industry in 1958, working as an assistant to Pierre Balmain. Jean Patou hired him in 1958, where he designed several couture collections. After that, he worked as a designer for Chloe, Fendi, and as a freelancer. It was at Chloe that he established a precedent for using elaborate sets in his runway shows. He also launched his brand, including jewelry designs, in the 1980s. Most pieces produced under his brand are avidly sought by collectors today.
