This beautiful bench designed in the 1950’s by Brazillian architect Acácio Gil Borsoi, an architect that was born in the Rio region and moved to Recife, where he had a great influence and responsibility towards spreading modernism in the Northeast region of Brazil through his career. The bench itself is made of solid rods of Pau Marfim wood, which is a dense and creamy hardwood species from South-America. The frame is a very minimalistic shape made of wrought iron, and has brass tips for feet. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
