These stools have a black painted solid metal frame which is very strong and sturdy. An elegant wicker woven bucket shaped seat is floating in the solid metal frame. There is a square welded to the frame, which makes the frame stronger but also provides a footrest. The stools remind us of similar works by Maria Herta Witzemann, since these come from Austria that might as well be true. The stools are super comfortable as the bucket shaped seat is nicely organic shaped and you can sit on them for a long breakfast behind your counter. The stools are in very good original condition with hardly any wear to the cane seating, which is pretty unusual for pieces this age. They are very well kept. See less
