Pair of Spanish ceramic vases from Sargadelos from the mid-19th century. Ivory-colored glazed ceramic of Galician origin, in the shape of a 5-armed vase or vase in the shape of a vegetable or barnacle.
Sargadelos began as an industrial project by the Galician Marqués de Sargadelos, which revolutionized the artistic and manufacturing panorama of Galician ceramics and earthenware. The manufacture of these pieces in the municipality of Cervo, in Galicia, quickly became popular due to the quality of the pieces and their designs. The first factory of these ceramics was the Royal Factory of Sargadelos, which was created in 1806 by Antonio Raimundo Ibáñez. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
