Neville Legall first attended the historic Alleyne School in Belleplaine and continued his formal studies at the Barbados Community College. He later participated in the Detroit Jazz Centre Artistic Exchange Programme where he studied with Harold Neal and Andrew Manier. A regular winner of the National Independence Festival of Creative Arts (NIFCA), Legall has exhibited widely and with success and has been the recipient of numerous medals and juried awards including the 'Spirit of Detroit' prize and a 'Best in Show, Architecture Award'. He has also n served as President of the Barbados Art Club.
