A pair of antique Japanese, early Meiji era, Translucent enamel over gilt copper vases. The exteriors of the wares are adorned with polychrome enamel designs representing bugs in blossoming flowers surrounded by a cloud ornament made in the Cloisonne technique. The necks and the bases are decorated with floral, foliate scroll, and geometrical patterns made in the same technique. One is signed, on the bottom. Circa: 1868 to 1877. Condition
