A beautiful example of an original Ernest Race Heron Chair circa 1955. Designed by Ernest Race and manufactured by Race Furniture.
Owned by one family from new, recovered approximately 10 years ago in a Kvadrat Hallingdahl wool fabric, which has been carried out extremely well, keeping all the lines and pleats as the original.
All the internals of the upholstery are original, as are the powder coated fixings and domes de silence.
A very authentic original Heron chair by Ernest Race retaining a wonderful vintage look.
In good overall condition, minimal signs of wear This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
