Signed on old frame backing, 'La Vere Hutchings' and titled 'Early Snow'.
LaVere Hutchings had a degree in art and during WWII taught art as a soldier in the US ARMY. Hutchings owned a gallery/school in Jamestown, California. He is hung in LDS Museum in SLC, at BYU, and elsewhere. He was featured in Art West, SW Art, North Lights, Pallett Talk, and has 2 Walter Foster, "It's Fun to Paint..." books, plus a hard-bound book, "Let Your Watercolors Sing" plus many prints, Hallmark cards, etc.
