A fresh and dynamic watercolor showing a view of the eternal rendezvous of rocks and water on California's Northern Pacific coast.
Signed lower right "Art Riley" for Arthur Irwin Riley (American, a listed artist and painted circa 1960.
Art Riley first studied at the Art Center School in Los Angeles and, later, with Barse Miller. He exhibited widely and with success from the 1930's through the 1960's and was the recipient of numerous prizes, medals and juried awards. Riley was a long-time member of both the California Water Color Society and the American Watercolor Society.
