This table measures approximately … Read more Antique c1800s Chinese Ming Style elm wood side table with carvings (peach?) and woven rattan top. This table measures approximately 22” square and 19.5” tall. Note the thin, tight, slightly uneven, hand woven rattan, the V-notches and mortise and tenon interlocking joints and the stitching on the bottom to tie down the rattan panel. No nails are used in this piece. Good condition with some imperfections, including chips, some wood shrinkage, and hairline crack in leg (see photos for details). A beautiful and fine example of Chinese Ming Style furniture design and craftsmanship. See less
