The bottoms of the legs terminate in fur and cloven hooves.

This stand is in fair original condition. The top is level, but there is warping to the bottom so that a shim measuring 2/3” was inserted between one of the feet and the bottom. There are losses to the gesso and evidence of past furniture beetles. Furniture beetles were a common occurrence in continental furniture. There are some cracks to the wood. See photos for detail.
