This original sculpture is by Canadian artist John Paul Robinson and features a spiraled fan of red glass feathers with transparent tips, bound by molded copper wire. The result is a vibrant, animated display of translucent color that simultaneously suggests fire and flight and depicts the artist’s recurring portrayal of natural elements at the intersection of science and mythology. The piece also reflects Robinson’s longtime appreciation for Canada’s Indigenous cultures, which permeates his extensive body of work.
This tabletop sculpture measures 18" in width, 17" in height, and 12" in height. It is signed by the artist and comes with a COA from Collette Gallery.
