For your consideration… A “ Dipped” Jasperware LARGE Pitcher
c.1900
Made by Dudson Bros. Hanley,England
Gorgeous Cobalt color richly decorated with gold details…
The body of the pot is made of pristine stoneware, that is dipped into a rich, royal cobalt, blue jasperware glaze for the first firing than the gilding is detailed on by hand than fired a thirst time making the pot sound as a pound these past 100 and more years.
Measures 8 1/2"tall x 8" wide x 5"
Elegantly styled in a neo, classical motif with cavorting goddesses and an oak leaf detail.
Heavily Detailed with a few signs of age and wear but overal in superb condition
