A combination brush and impasto painting techniques have been utilized in this landscape. Impasto sometimes, with a deft handi-work with skilled procession, can delineate a sense of depths to nay given piece of art, that jumps of the canvas or board, and this definitely has that huber quality of a painter's painter's knowledge and growth of utilizing this painter technique with the accomplished pieces, such as this is and beyond. The colorful attributions given t the piece are rich and subtle at the same time, but the puff of a congruent and textural mountainside on the background ground this within the horizon and amongst a soft alluring rolling clouds within a blue sky. It is difficult unless seen in person to gee and engage with an ever-growing clarity of depth to the piece, singular and interpersonal, yet evolving upon constant inspection. The painting is in great condition, and has been originally varnished and protected, but the pencil trim to surround gilt wood frame has some pitting to it, as well as the framee itself some chipping to the wood frame, which lends me to believe upon inspection that humidity is the culprit of wood drying, that said it certainly doesn't refrain from the quality of the painting.
