Most notably the glass topper in certain lighting shows a great deal of surface scratches and wear over the entire surface. Although they are very light scratches and only a couple of them are deep enough to barely be felt by the fingertips. The edges of the glass topper look great with no nicks or rough spots. The aluminum has only a few light blemishes here and there. The vinyl seats and table base have some nicks and small indents from use. The lucite has some scratching along the back upper edges from normal use and swiveling against other chairs and walls but nothing drastic. There are also a few small chips here and there along the lucite edges. No major cracks or weak spots in the lucite have been detected. We have METICULOUSLY cleaned and inspected this set and found no major defects or damages. The padding is in good shape and chairs are comfortable and operate with a smooth swivel. The table sits very sturdy with no wobble, and all the metal foot pads are present (some of the replaceable felt pads are worn though.) Overall this is a very unique and eye-catching design and besides the glass top in certain angles of light this set displays very nicely. less
