The stem is made of twisted solid glass surmounted by a small blown sphere and a typical Cenedese neck. On the high side elaborate wings "fins" with a pinched cadmium red application. Cenedese was inspired by the 18th century glass in the Murano Museum. See reference Goblet with Wings page 18, Attilia Dorigato, Murano Glass at the Table Yesterday and Today, Murano Glass Museum, La Stamperia di Venezia Editrice. It is very rare to have a set of 8 glasses, while these types of glasses are only available today as unique collector's pieces. It fits perfectly into a maximalist design. Rare and unique.
