This is a rare Bauhaus armchair by the German designer Erich Dieckmann created in the 1920s. The design features the Bauhaus philosophy, in which form follows function. The typical Dieckmann’s characteristics are clearly present. The chair is in good original condition with some schratches on the wood and the original paper cord is slightly damaged (seen on foto). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
