Bbpr was a partnership set up in milan in 1932 by architects gianlugi banfi, lodovico barbiano di belgiojoso, enrico peressutti and ernesto nathan rogers. The metal base can be unscrewed. It supports a writing surface and two pedestals opening to three drawers. The top of this vintage desk is made of bakelite, a plastic used in the first half of the 20th century for its insulating and heat-resistant properties. Marked under the top and under the legs: "olivetti arredamenti metallici". Numbered 62/182. This vintage-style antique desk with its industrial look is a design classic from the 60's.
