They adjust in two areas: the swing arms can be moved in and out and the telescoping arm can be raised and locked into place extending the height to 35" or more. Both have on/off switches on the cords, the white linen shades are currently held on by clip extenders on the bulbs but the sockets are threaded and would take screw on harps if desired. Shades are in good "as is" condition. Bases are 7 1/2" across, each arm of the swing arms measure 6" and the slightly tapered drum shades measure 11" x 8 1/2' X 13 1/2". These lamps are ideal for an executive desk, a console or a sofa table. See less
