Bbpr was a partnership set up in milan in 1932 by architects gianlugi banfi, lodovico barbiano di belgiojoso, enrico peressutti and ernesto nathan rogers. The metal base unscrews and supports a writing surface made of bakelite, a plastic used in the first half of the 20th century for its insulating and heat-resistant properties. Marked under the top and feet: "olivetti arredamenti metallici". Numbered 62/182. This occasional desk with its vintage style and industrial look is a design classic from the 60's. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
