Schultz designed the Petal series, with dining, coffee, and side table size variants, which won the design award from Industrial Design Magazine in 1961.

This cocktail table is finished in a white lacquered finish, and features eight petal sections made from wood which each attach to the branch styled steel pronged base.

This 'Petals' coffee table by Richard Schultz for Knoll International would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern or Danish modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a contemporary or Postmodern room. Also consider mixing it up in a traditional, transitional, classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition.
