This cocktail table features a organic-shaped custom glass top and is supported by a sculptural welded base depicting a lotus pond. Attributed to Silas Seandel, the heavy yet delicate metal varies in thickness, giving a more natural feel to otherwise unnatural elements.
Silas Seandel is a celebrated American artist and designer known for his innovative handcrafted metalwork and functional sculpture. Born and raised in New York City, he was a pioneering mid century Brutalist, often working raw metals such as copper, bronze, steel and brass into dynamic juxtapositions of strong and delicate forms.
