Anders Leonard Zorn (1860-1920) was a Swedish artist known for domestic scenes, bathers, country festivals, and portraits. He attained international success as a painter, sculptor, and etching artist. Among Zorn's portrait subjects include King Oscar II of Sweden and three American Presidents. He was a good friend of Isabella Stewart Gardner. Many of his works are on view at her museum in Boston.
