Born in the later years of King Louis XVI's reign, this French sofa table features a rectangular planked top sitting above an apron adorned with a single dovetailed drawer on all four sides. The table is raised on four turned legs whose shape are reminiscent of Doric columns with entasis, connected to one another with a plain cross stretcher and resting on onion feet.
