This is a 1930s English painting, ink on paper, that has been more recently preserved in a silver gilt frame and protective glass. What was once a wallpaper sample of a monochromatic design of abstracted floral/foliate theme now can be appreciated in a smaller scale and in any room without the permanent commitment of installation!
