Antique Victorian chromolithograph depicting an elaborate Gothic Revival fireplace grate and matching firedogs designed by Messrs. C. Jeakes & Co., London. Published in England and chromolithographed by the renowned firm Day & Son, Lithographers to the Queen, under the direction of J. B. Waring.
The plate showcases richly detailed Gothic ornament, heraldic motifs, architectural tracery, and decorative metalwork set against a patterned wallpaper background. Originally issued as a design reference for architects, decorators, and craftsmen during the height of the Gothic Revival movement.
