This pair of table lamps is a typical Chinese style art form in Europe from the 17th to the 18th century. No matter where it is placed in the room, it is a work of art. Each lamp is hand-painted by the artist, with Chinese patterns and figures and landscapes hand-painted on a black background.
Chinoiserie is often combined with the Baroque and Rococo decorative styles that were popular in the mid-18th century. Today, Chinese style is still a much-copied design trend because its whimsical, incredible scenery and playful decorations create a charming decorative aesthetic.
