19th century French Ladies writing desk/secretary “Bonheur Du Jour” ebony with brass inlay. The top of the secretary is decorated with a bronze gallery. Desk opens to reveal 3 small drawers, and a leather surface writing area made in Brazilian rosewood with beautiful embossed hinges. All constructed with elegant Bombay scrolls trough entire structure, supported by the cabriole legs and sabot feet. Boulle style France, 19th Century.
