Crafted in France circa 1920, the devotional wall piece features a finely detailed silvered pewter relief depicting the Virgin Mary seated with the infant Jesus in her arms, accompanied by the young Saint John the Baptist.

The tender composition portrays the Madonna embracing the Christ Child while Saint John stands beside them, reaching toward the flowing drapery. The figures are rendered with expressive facial features, carefully modeled hands, and intricately sculpted garments, creating a scene of maternal affection and spiritual devotion. The relief is mounted on a shield-shaped black plaque with a pointed Gothic arch, providing a striking contrast to the silvered figures.

At the bottom, a decorative shell-shaped holy water receptacle features an aged patina with subtle verdigris accents. The back is fitted with a metal hanging hook for convenient wall display.

The antique religious stoup is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, retaining a rich silvered finish. A meaningful decorative accent for a chapel, prayer room, or traditional French interior.
