A vintage reproduction print of antique Ukiyo-e woodblock print by Utagawa Hiroshige, from his series, "The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō Road".
The road leads to the Fourteenth Station: Yoshiwara. During the long journey, the ocean is always on the left side and Mount Fuji on the right side, but before arriving at Yoshiwara, the winding road through the rice fields allows travelers to see Fuji-san on the left side, which is mentioned in the title block: "Fuji on the Left".
This reproduction print is not a woodblock reproduction, but offset, full-color print. Detailed.
