The head is sensitively rendered with a softly contoured face eyes half closed, bow-shaped lips smiling with serene contemplative expression, exhibiting classic features of Sukhothai Buddhas: egg shaped head, a narrow well-shaped nose, with arched eyebrows bowed high towards the forehead, prominent elongated ears, the surface has a beautifully aged patina.
The Buddha is mounted on a wood base (later).
