The road before arriving at the Seventh Station - Hiratsuka. A special messenger runs to the Sixth Station. Two light palanquin carriers - Kago - return quietly to Hiratsuka. In the title block: "The Path through the Rice Fields"; allusion to a short haiku poem: "Fresh air! The palanquin on the path through the rice fields."

Comes from a rare art folio published by Editions du Credit Lyonnais in Paris, France, in 1960. Printed in France, on one side of high-quality heavy paper. Blank back, numbered on the back: VIII.

Nearly excellent condition - minor edge wear, it was pinned in the past, two tiny holes very close to the top corners were flattened and are barely visible, never framed. See less
