This is a beautiful vintage, handmade box with beautifully carved African animal details. This box is in very good gently used vintage condition. The lid is slightly smaller than the box and may be a replacement, although the two pieces certainly look like they go together. It may just be the nature of a hand made piece, as shown in the photos. Would look great on a shelf or to hold your jewellery or treasures.
