Chinese export turquoise glazed foo dog lamp. This vintage lamp dates to the 1940s while the mounted female foo dog with her paw on her cub likely dates to around 1850. The foo dog is nicely detailed and embellished and her porcelain base fits into a wood stand which has been seated in a repousse bronze base.. The silk pagoda shade comes with the lamp.
This foo dog lamp is in good original condition with the exception of the minor loss to a part of a petal. See photographs. There is some tarnish on the metal pieces.
Dimensions: 6” diameter of base, 10.75” height to top of foo dog, 24” height to top of finial.
