Resemblant of a design by Barbara Barry for Baker Furniture Company, these dressers feature individual faceted squares to encase the chest. Each square is carefully selected and arranged by the artist, RJ Spowen, and are made of solid African mahogany. They are each cut into a diamond, 3 dimensional shape, and result in a unique geometric pattern.

The table top and base, also made from solid African mahogany, are ebonized just enough to let the natural wood grain shine through. Inside the chests are hand-made dove tail drawers of solid mahogany offering ample space for storage. There is additional cubby space for more storage possibilities.

The finish is a pigmented and dye stain sealed with a catalyzed lacquer. The result is a one of a kind piece, using only the best materials, designed to last for years. A true piece of art and a testament to elite craftsmanship and woodworking.

These pieces are suitable for a variety of setting from contemporary modern, traditional, to art deco. They can be used as dressers, entry tables, side tables, or bed side tables.

Both chests are dated and signed by the artist, RJ Spowen.
