Pair of Chinese Porcelain Famille Vert Kanxgi period plates (1662-1722). These dishes have flanged rims, scalloped edges and are painted in three shades of green, red, yellow, manganese purple, blue and black. Depicted is furniture of the scholar's table, arranged in a large circular medallion and in four groups on the rim. Ling Chih mark on the base in a double ring in underglaze blue.
Provenance; purchased from Philip Suval, Inc. NYC in 1990.
