ANDRE GISSON was an American impressionist based in CT, but traveled widely. He is also known for his French landscapes and cityscapes. His signature is in the upper right. The frame has a wide linen liner. This is a subtle and elegant classical style painting of soft white, pink , and blue flowers, maybe peonies, for a vertical space.
