An excellent reproduction print after watercolor portrait of Chimpanzee by English painter Edward Lear (circa 1812 -1888) in a very pretty antique hand carved gilt wood frame. Covered with glass. Original board and metal hanger on back. This print is one of limited edition of 3 which we created and printed at our partner's shop in England about 8 years ago. Signed in the print (printed). Copy on the back of the print. The frame was made in England in the second half of the 19th century. Excellent condition - the print was trimmed to fit the frame, minor age wear on the frame, clean.
