It has a buttery yellow background with flowers in almost certainly 22 carat gold around the vase. There also is gold at the top and at the bottom.

It also includes a smart flower holder that keeps the flowers in place.
The top of the flower holder is also in gold.

Arthur Percy actually used real gold in some of his artwork. His ceramics and porcelain were often decorated with 22-karat gold, which gave them a unique shine and elegance. This is one of the reasons why his works are so sought after by collectors and art enthusiasts.

Arthur Percy began his career as an artist and ceramicist in the early 1900s. In 1923 he was employed as artistic director at Gefle Porslinsfabrik, which later became part of Upsala Ekeby.
There he created beautiful household objects with soft decorations of flowers and birds.

During the 1930s and 40s, he also designed the well-known décor "Red Ruby". Percy had a passion for older ceramics and was inspired by museum objects from different parts of Europe. The height of the flower holder is 12 cm. The diameter of the top is 7.5 cm. And at the bottom 3.5 cm. Stamped and numbered at the bottom. This piece has an attribution mark,
