It is Completely Hand Made out of Solid Indigenous North American Chestnut Wood ( Sturdy Construction). It Still Retains its Very Old Blue Naturally Aged and Weathered Painted Surfaces Giving it that Wonderful Rustic Color & Patina that Cannot be Duplicated. It is in Strong & Sound - Perfectly Usable Condition. I purchased this piece on one of my Recent Picking Adventures in the Northern Coastal Massachusetts Region.
