Mah Jong composed of … Read more French decorated modular sofa Mah Jong by Hans Hopfer for Roche Bobois, 2000s Modular sofa mod. Mah Jong composed of 12 square cushions, padded and covered in fabric with different textures and patterns. There are 6 padded backrests and covered in the same fabrics, which can be inserted on the desired cushion. The backrests are 2 corner, 3 simple and 1 with an adjustable backrest. The sofa can be assembled as desired, it is possible to overlap the cushions to raise the seat and the modules can be used individually as armchairs, poufs or chaise longues. The fabrics are in shades of brown and red, pink, orange, purple, blue, green and white. with 4 smaller cushions. Produced by Roche Bobois in about 2000 and designed by Hans Hopfer in 1971. Brand present. Vintage condition, it shows signs of use and time, there are halos, discolorations and other imperfections. The white background modules have yellowing.
