Late 19th-Early 20th C. J. Macpherson "Horse Ferry" Watercolor Painting
Splendid original watercolor of a group of men about to ferry some horses to the other side of the river. The artist shows remarkable detail and color throughout the painting. The color is still strong after 100+ years.
Overall the painting is in excellent condition. A few minor spots of foxing in the sky upper right.
Signed lower left corner.
Watercolor dimensions 20.5" x 10.5". The paper measures 22.5" x 12.5".
Comes unframed. There is plenty of border for matting and frame. Be sure to use archival materials.
