A quiet landscape scene of a church in a stark desert oasis. The calm earth tones and contrasting Blue Sky provide an authentic foreground to the small figures in the painting. The artwork depicts a priest in traditional dark robe and hat leading a donkey up a sandy hill to a church. There is another figure in a traditional poncho walking with him carrying a Christmas wreath. There is a line of small dark figures walking into the church, presumably for Christmas Mass. The Artwork is in excellent condition/ Frame is in excellent condition with a few signs of age related wear. A very nice piece to add a unique touch to any space. Artwork 9.5”x 13.5”, Vintage Gold wood Frame 15”x19”. See less
