Fitz and Floyd produced some of the most enchanting designs in serveware and this is a fine example. The “Fish Market” pattern is Trompe L’oeil style and is shown here in a covered oval vegetable dish.
The top is decorated with a fish, lemon, crab and shells on a bed of greens. The side handles are twisted asparagus. All is hand painted and whimsical.
The bottom is stamped and dated 1992.
This is a great piece to display in a collection, but it’s ready to use as well.
