Timeless sophistication meets feminine grace in this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Tabriz rug. The intricate floral design and soft pastel colors woven into this piece work together resulting in a look sophisticated elegance. Taking center stage is a dusty rose colored cusped medallion anchored with trefoil pendants. An allover pattern composed of stylized florals, tiny palmettes, leafy tendrils and delicate botanical formations cover the abrashed violet purple hued field. Elaborate spandrels richly patterned with florals and foliage radiate form the corners. An ornamental border flanked with floral meander guard borders creates a lush enclosure to this formal composition.
