Marioni … Read more This tall black glass ewer by American glass artist Dante Marioni has blue piping making it a rare piece. Marioni was born in California in 1964. His father, Paul Marioni, was involved in the American studio glass movement, and Dante was immersed from a young age. As a young man, he worked for The Glass Eye. He learned from masters like Lino Tagliapietra, Benjamin Moore, and Richard Marquis. He had taught in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Europe.

This ewer is in very good original condition with wear consistent with age and use.
