Custom piece in the manner of Gary McCloy (possible Steve Chase commission)- yet to determine artist, but definitely a superb piece. Two pieces, could be disassembled and used as just a gorgeous ceramic sculpture or vase - the top ceramic ball just sits in the mouth of the vase and is held by electrical components. Original wiring works, no shade, 29” to top of ceramic ball and 23” at widest diameter. 35” tall to top of lamp socket. Wonderful pinks, mauves, purples, blush tones. Calling 1980. See less
