Original Feng Shui Chinese watercolor/ink painting on rice paper. Bright greens in tonal design creating depth and shadows. Perfect piece to imbue a calm and restorative space.
Chinese writing translates to Budding Bamboo and marked 1980 (庚申年). Artist’s Red Chop Signature is difficult to read as it is an ancient font. This was translated and information given by a connection in China.
Provenance: Curated from estate of anthropology and sociology teacher who traveled with students to China in 1987. Travel is substantiated by family and other paintings.
