This is an unusual Chinese rouleau form ceramic vase with painted blue swallows (birds) and relief artwork of pink lotuses on celadon ground. There are also some Chinese characters in relief. The vase is 26" high, 8" in diameter and is heavy at about 20 lb. The mouth is very narrow at 1.5" width.
